Fourteen firsts for S. Glos have been reported in September: Sooty Shearwater, Scandinavian Chiffchaff, Woodlark, Balearic Shearwater, White-rumped Sandpiper, Sabine's Gull, Dotterel, Red-footed Falcon, Red-rumped Swallow, Pectoral Sandpiper, Terek Sandpiper, Willow Tit, Grey-headed Wagtail and Buff-breasted Sandpiper.

 

1st

Arctic Skua, Corncrake, Leach's Petrel, Mediterranean Gull, Pale-bellied Brent Goose; Ring Ouzel; Wood Sandpiper, Wryneck.

 

2nd

Arctic Skua, Garganey, Grasshopper Warbler, Honey Buzzard, Lapland Bunting, Leach's Petrel, Mandarin, Mediterranean Gull, Rose-coloured Starling, Wood Sandpiper, Wryneck.

 

3rd

Arctic Skua, Leach's Petrel, Little Tern, Long-tailed Skua, Mediterranean Gull, Sabine's Gull, Shag, Storm Petrel, Tree Sparrow, Turtle Dove, Willow Tit, Wood Sandpiper, Wryneck, Yellow-legged Gull.

Glos, Cetti's Warbler, Grey Phalarope, Hoopoe, Leach's Petrel, Little Tern, Mediterranean Gull, Osprey, Sabine's Gull, Tree Sparrow, Turtle Dove, WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER at Severn Beach was the first for S. Glos, White Stork, Wood Sandpiper.

Arctic Skua, Avocet, Grey Phalarope, Hoopoe, Leach's Petrel, Mandarin, Mediterranean Gull, SABINE'S GULL at New Passage was the first for S. Glos, Shag, Short-eared Owl, Storm Petrel, Tree Sparrow, White-rumped Sandpiper, Wood Sandpiper.

Arctic Skua, Cirl Bunting, Corncrake, DOTTEREL at Severn Beach was the first for S. Glos, Goshawk, Grey Phalarope, Hen Harrier, Hoopoe, Leach's Petrel, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, Mandarin, Mediterranean Gull, Spoonbill, Storm Petrel, Turtle Dove.

Arctic Skua, Dotterel, Grey Phalarope, Grasshopper Warbler, Hoopoe, Leach's Petrel, Marsh Harrier, Mediterranean Gull.

Arctic Skua, Dotterel, Grey Phalarope, Hoopoe, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, Mediterranean Gull, RED-FOOTED FALCON at Severn House Farm was the first for S. Glos, RED-RUMPED SWALLOW at Severn Beach was the first for S. Glos, Ruddy Shelduck, Short-eared Owl, Skua Spp, Storm Petrel, Turtle Dove, Wryneck, Yellow-legged Gull.

Cetti's Warbler, Dotterel, Grey Phalarope, Mediterranean Gull, PECTORAL SANDPIPER at Oldbury Power Station was the first for S. Glos, Shag, Turtle Dove, Yellow-legged Gull.

GREY-HEADED WAGTAIL at Northwick Warth was the first for S. Glos, Hen Harrier, Jack Snipe, Little Tern, Long-tailed Skua, Mandarin, Mediterranean Gull, Pectoral Sandpiper, Ruddy Shelduck, Semipalmated Sandpiper, Short-eared Owl, Yellow-legged Gull.

BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER at New Passage was the first for S. Glos, Little Tern, Mandarin, Mediterranean Gull, Richard's Pipit, Spotted Redshank, Storm Petrel, Yellow-legged Gull.
